Winter Warmers for Snooker: Hoisin Sausage Firecracker Noodles…

Sweet and Sticky with a hint of Heat.

When the weather is cold and the snooker table is calling, sometimes you need something quick, filling, and packed with flavour. Another yet simple stir-fry dish delivers exactly that.

Using Blue Dragon Hoisin & Garlic Sauce, this recipe combines the comforting richness of sausages with noodles and fresh vegetables for a dish that is sweet, savoury, and just a little fiery.

A fiery but sweet Chinese dish that packs a lot in flavour.

Perfect for a quick meal before heading out to the club, or a satisfying bite after a few hard-fought frames.

Ingredients

  • 2–4 sausages (sliced)
  • 1 small onion (sliced)
  • 2 spring onions (chopped)
  • Handful of mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 tomato (diced)
  • 1 fresh chilli (diced)
  • Egg noodles
  • 1 pouch Blue Dragon Hoisin & Garlic Sauce
  • 1 egg (optional)
  • A little cooking oil

Method

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to the packet instructions and set aside.
  2. Heat a little oil in a frying pan or wok and cook the sliced sausages until browned.
  3. Add the onion, mushrooms, chilli and tomato, stirring for a few minutes until softened.
  4. Stir in the cooked noodles and pour over the hoisin and garlic sauce.
  5. Toss everything together so the noodles soak up the sauce.
  6. Add the chopped spring onions and stir through.
  7. Optional: fry an egg separately and place it on top before serving.

Why It Works

The hoisin sauce brings a sweet and garlicky depth to the dish, while the chilli adds a gentle kick. The sausages make it hearty enough to keep you going through a long evening at the snooker table.

Simple, fast, and packed with flavour — just the sort of meal that keeps the cue arm moving on a cold night.
