SnookerZone backs Cue Ball in Hand Rule for ALL snooker…

This club in this video are on the right road with introducing the cue ball in hand.

This website backs the rule. It would speed up frames. Make less hassle for having balls replaced and potential arguments happening at amateur level where the balls were – as the amateur game doesn’t have the fancy equipment of the pro circuit. See the tail end of the video.

And, if players take their chances when they get cue ball in hand – then that’s the way it is.

At Oxshott, we don’t play the three rule miss – you have one attempt to get out of the snooker and then you have the option to either play the shot or tell your opponent to play the shot from where it lands, depending on the position of course.

Snooker needs to speed up – they do cue ball in hand on the 900 and it works well.
