Winter Warmers for Snooker: Sausage Curry…

I love sausages. And I love curry. Most amateur snooker players like me love a curry.

Curries are also good for fending off colds and flus and for sweating them out.

Here’s my version of a sausage curry. I could have added red chillies – but the sauce is spicy as it is…

I include sweetcorn and have it over some PILAU RICE…YUM!

The sweetcorn adds texture – it’s winter comfort food!

You can do this with Pasta as well – curried pasta with a twist. Works well with Tortelloni…

A hearty, warming dish with juicy sausages in a thick, mildly spiced curry gravy.

    • Heat oil in a large pan and cook sausages until golden.
    • Remove and set aside.

    • Add garlic and curry powder — cook 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Make the curry gravy

    • Slowly add stock, stirring to avoid lumps.
    • Add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and grated apple.
  4. Simmer
    • Return sausages to the pan.
    • Simmer 20 minutes until thick and rich.
  5. Finish
    • Add veg and cook 5 minutes.
    • Season to taste.
