π WOK Hot Underdog Bolognaise β A Simple Pasta Dish Packed with Flavour – Another Trip to Flavourville…

One of the things I enjoy most about cooking is taking everyday ingredients and seeing what can be created with them. It doesn’t always have to be an expensive cut of meat or a complicated recipe to produce something satisfying.
This latest addition to my WOK Underdog Recipes collection is a great example.
Using beef mince, onions, mushrooms, chopped tomatoes and tomato purΓ©e, I created a rich, hearty pasta dish in the wok. A small amount of plain flour was stirred into the sauce to naturally thicken it, producing a lovely consistency that coated the pasta beautifully.
To finish the dish, I garnished it with freshly sliced chillies and spring onions, adding a little freshness and a gentle kick of heat.
Simple ingredients.
Affordable cooking.
Big flavour.
That’s exactly what WOK Underdog Recipes are all about.

Adding a little plain flour while stirring the sauce is an easy way to create a thicker, richer tomato base. Add it gradually and keep stirring to avoid lumps.
