Winter Warmers for Snooker: Sweet and Fiery Spicy Sausage Bap with Fries…

GUY FIERI from Diners, Drive ins, and Dives would enjoy this simple dish…

No Ordinary Sausage Bap…in 25 mins

Perfect if you want a quick meal before you go out the door to play some snooker frames down the club.

This is a take on a simple favourite everyone loves. The sausage Bap taken to another level with a Cottage Delight “Stinging Scorpion Chilli Sauce.”

Now, with this sauce it is described as “hot, hot, hot,” but in order to tone down the heat a bit, the best way to do that is to add some jam to the marinade with the sausages in the mixture for a good few hours before to sweeten the heat.

I also marinaded the sausages in a sage and onion seasoning, coriander, and salt and pepper, and put them on a tray in the fridge for around five hours.

Looks can be deceiving: No ordinary sausage bap…The sausages have been marinaded in a sweet and hot spicy sauce for a few hours before…

You can if you like add onions, but the marinade alone is enough of a kick. It certainly was a kick but, as I say, adding the Jam tones down the intensity a lot so you can enjoy the flavours that come out on the sausages.

This is a quick and easy one you can have for lunch or dinner – and goes up a level with the normal baps you get in coffee places.

Makes a change from just having Ketchup or Brown sauce.

I also added some spinach to the bap for some greenery and if you wanted to, dice a small chilli for the added kick even further.

Takes about 25 mins…

PS: If you’re not used to the heat on some of these sauces then put some jam or some kind of sweet ingredient and it will tone down the intensity as some of these sauces are indeed – HOT! Especially if you’re not used to them!
