I played a few frames again at Oxshott on Saturday and this was one of my remarkable shots I potted in one of the frames. These are very tough. You need a lot of side on them and this one I used right hand side and the black landed in the left hand pocket. A brilliant shot – tough – and you wouldn’t try this shot in a league or tournament match unless you were very brave enough to do so – but if you’re confident enough then you might think it’s worth the risk – but in all honesty I wouldn’t try this in a league match or tournament.

But as a shot on its own – if you can pull it off, then it’s worth knowing how to play it…
