Tuesday Preview of the #The900…

FOUR NEW FACES appear in Tuesday’s edition of week five of the fast and furious event the 900 as they compete to see who will go into final’s night on Wednesday and come out victorious to go into November’s Grand Finals.
The new players for Tuesday…
Felix Frede is one of the competitors to join the line-up for Tuesday.
The 29-year-old hails from Germany, and competed in the 2018 Austrian Pro Am event the King’s Open reaching the last 16.
He’s also competed in the 2019 QSchool events.
Andy Lavin hails from England and is 48 and most recently competed in the 2023 QSchool. He was a pro in the 1996/97 season and was ranked 320. Back then there were apparently well over 600 professionals according to sources and competed in the 1996 Asian Classic, reaching a best of Round two. That tournament was won by Ronnie O’Sullivan who beat Brian Morgan in a deciding frame 9 – 8!.
Gary Britton hails from Jersey and at 50 also gets a spot on TV in the amateur snooker event that has the biggest payout in amateur snooker.
Britton also competed in the 2023 QSchool. Jersey of course hails the World Seniors Champion Aaron Canavan, as Britton competes in Tuesday’s group.
He is the winner of the Channel Island Championship twice.
Finally, Luke Pinches, the son of Barry Pinches, is 22 and hails from England, as his father Barry knocked in a terrific century early on in the 900. That was followed by Ng On Yee’s 108, and then Holt’s 109.
As usual, the 8 who progress from Monday and Tuesday go into Finals night with a chance to go into November 22nd’s Grand Finals and scoop a £10,000 first prize.
You can catch all the action on SKY 427, and SPORTYSTUFF YOUTUBE CHANNEL.
