Stars of Women’s Snooker Tour to Jet Off for Belgian Delight…

STARS of the World Women’s Snooker Tour will jet off to Belgium this month for the first event of 2023.

The Belgium Open to be held in Bruge sees the top stars all heading out to North West Belgium in a bid to pick up the first silverware of the New Year.

The likes of Reanne Evans, Rebecca Kenna, Mink Nutcharut, Emma Parker, and Jasmine Bolsover have all entered the event set to kick off in 1 day’s time.

After a successful 2022 for a string of female players in the sport, which included players performing their best in front of the TV cameras in both professional and amateur events, 2023 is set to be another progressive and successful year for the players on the tour.

The Belgium Open comes just before the big tournament in the World Women’s Snooker Championship, which sees the winner of the event pick up a two-year tour card – assuming it is a different winner.

2022 was a great year for stars such as Mink Nutcharut, who won a World Professional Ranking Event with Neil Robertson…

Mink Nutcharut was the winner last year as the tournament sets to go back to Thailand this year for the first time since the pandemic hit in 2020.

The WWSC has been held in 6 different countries.

Woking’s Jasmine Bolsover has shot up the rankings to World Number 18 on the Tour…

38 entries have been counted for The Belgium Open as entries end in three days’ time.

The event begins on Jan 20 – 22.

Good luck to everyone competing in Belgium from SnookerZone.
