Selby to Return to 8-Ball on 17th January 2022…

FOUR-TIMES World Snooker Champion Mark Selby will appear in the Eative Ultimate Pool Pairs Cup in the last 16 of the event on week three on the 17th of January next year.

Mark Selby will return to the Ultimate Pool Pairs Cup on the 17th January…

After coming through a dramatic three-way six-reds shootout in the group phase of the event a few weeks ago with his brother-in-law Gareth Potts, they take to the small table again in the third week of the 21-week marathon in 2022.

The 2006 World Pool Champion has a tough group with there being one other favourite pair to take the group in favourites Karl Sutton and Shaun Chipperfield.

But as said time and time again in the Pairs Cup, you just never know!

The draw for the increasingly exciting concluding weeks of the event sees also the two youngest and oldest pairings in the competition face tough last 16 phases as the pairings of Bryan Cumming and Scott Coventry take on the tough fourth week of Shaun Storry and Chris Day and Declan Brennan and Legend Ronan McCarthey and no 1 ranked Ultimate Pool professional Shane Thompson and Tom Cousins.

Coventry, 22, and Cumming,21, got through week 16 earlier this week.

Steve Singh and Neil Davey are on in the first week back on January 3rd.

Finals night is set for the end of January on the 31st.

Once again, you can see the action on a Monday night on Freesports Channel 64 in the UK and on the Ultimate Pool website.
