New Docu-Film Will Charter Life of Legend Pool Player Jeanette Lee…

She’s famously known as The Black Widow because, despite her sweet demeanor, she’s lethal on the pool table…

A soon-to-be-released docu-film will charter the life of top American female 9-ball pool legend player Jeanette Lee, AKA the Black Widow.

Lee, now 50, was diagnosed with stage IV terminal ovarian cancer in 2021, and lives with her three daughters in Tampa, Florida.

She will look back on her storied career and opens up about her life and legacy like never before when she dominated the 90s and 2000s on the 9-ball pool scene.

Ursula Liang (“9-Man,” “Down a Dark Stairwell”) will direct, and Cora Atkinson (“Summer of Soul”) will produce the film with team ESPN Film productions on board.

The 30 for 30 documentary will be executively produced by ESPN Films in association with Words + Pictures, founded in early 2021 by Connor Schell.
