Legend HIll Scoops Third Pro Series Title in 2022…

ULTIMATE POOL and LEGEND Michael Hill scooped the Ultimate Pool Pro Series Event 6 over the weekend to land a trio in 2022.
The Pro Series Events 5 and 6, as well as the Challenger and Women’s Series were all played in the bustling seaside town of Blackpool as 400 players took to the Grand Hotel to battle it out on the small tables.
Hill and Blackpool are like Tea and Coffee, as all six of his World Championships have been won at the British iconic seaside venue that has hosted many a pool and snooker event over the decades.
Since Hill returned to the elite ranks of pool and joined Ultimate Pool last year, he has rekindled his desire to lift silverware and to grow the game of 8-ball, as well as compete against the upcoming stars of the game including the likes of Shane Thompson and others.
Although Hill lost to another legend Chris Melling in the last 16 of Event 5, he bounced back on Friday with a string of impressive results and performances on his way to his latest title.

In the last four, Hill ended the run of Karl Boyes 7-5 to make a record-equalling fourth final on the series, drawing level with current number one professional Shane Thompson. Despite the loss, four-time Mosconi Cup winner Boyes made a big impact during his maiden weekend within the Ultimate Pool pro ranks.
The Ultimate Pool website confirm that: “Arguably the greatest small table 8-Ball pool player of all-time, Hill didn’t win an Ultimate Pool title of any description during 2021, but suddenly, he is back to his ominous and dominant best.”
Haynes Lifts Another…
Arguably, Harriet Haynes is Ultimate Pool’s best female player of the moment as Haynes scooped a second Women’s Series title.
It was also a successful night for the Randle family, who play both snooker and pool, and although the older daughter Danielle Randle, SnookerZone has interviewed her as well, didn’t make it through the main Women’s Event, her younger sibling Megan scooped the Plate trophy.
🏅 WINNER | Congratulations to Megan Randle on winning the 2022 Ultimate Pool Women’s Series Event 3 Plate!

Her mother, Suzanne Randle, whom SnookerZone has interviewed a while back, wrote on Facebook: “Words can’t describe how I am feeling. I would need 2 hands for the amount of finals we have lost. Our time has come. Megan Randle is the Ultimate Pool Plate Champion in the UK.
She added; I haven’t stopped crying.
And finally, in the Challenger Series, Jez Graham, winner of the Ultimate Pool Grand Slam Challenger event earlier on this year – also got his hands on some more silverware, making his bid for the Ultimate Pool Professional ranks even stronger for 2023.
Ultimate Pool Champions League Finals Night Tonight…
