Favourite Wallace Scoops Day 1 Week 8 of 900…

WORLD SENIORS TOUR STAR Patrick Wallace scooped Day 1, Week 8, the final week of TV qualifying for the Grand Finals of the fast and furious snooker event the 900 on Monday.
The 54-year-old Northern Irishman came through a tough field of entrants to go safely into Wednesday’s draw, as he defeated the Cuestars Senior Wayne Townsend in the final.
The Marquee player of Monday night was Jayson Shaw, 33, nicknamed Eagle-Eye, who has a string of pool titles to his name and recently won the Hanoi Open.
He told Rachel Casey and the team before the event that he was looking forward to having a go in the 900 but that his main passion was 9 ball. He said he had in the past picked balls out for the likes of top stars Stephen Maguire, John Higgins, and Anthony McGill.
Four new faces will join the 900 on Tuesday along with the ones who didn’t make it on Monday and they go again from 10PM on SKY 427 or SPORTYSTUFF YOUTUBE CHANNEL.
He said he felt good with his pool cue at the start of the night! 💪

Cuestars founder JOHN HUNTER enters the fray on Tuesday as does MARK GRAY, another former snooker professional, who is also a pool player, and Mosconi star.
Could Hunter cause a stir in the 900 like Nic Barrow did in week 7?

LIVE on Sporty Stuff TV each week, the Snooker Legends 900 became a must-see for all Snooker fans.
A string of stars became 96, and the competition was fast and furious.
Twice a runner-up in the English Amateur Championship, Andrew Norman knocked in the only Century of the tournament in week 1, qualifying for the quarter-finals. Week 2 saw World Seniors CHampion Aaron Canavan run out the winner and Week 3 saw ex-professional Andrew Higginson safely through. The winner of week 4 was Alfie Lee, Stephen Lee’s son looking in imperious form.
Week 5 was won by Phil Williams and week 6 by the eventual winner, Ant Parsons. Martin O’Donnell clinched the win on week 7 and Ben Hancorn secured a victory in week 8 against a star-studded field that included Tony Drago.
The Finals week was very special indeed, with the pressure ramped up to the maximum. The weekly winners were randomly drawn into s straight knockout format.
in the Quarter Finals, Marin O’Donnell defeated Aaron Canavan, Ben Hancorn edged past Andrew Higginson, while Andrew Normal beat Phil Williams and Ant Parson beat Alfie Lee.
The Semi-finals saw Martin O’Donnell beat Ben Hancorn and Ant Parson defeat Andrew Normal to set up the Final.
ANT PARSONS was the victor of season 1 and LEE THE SHIRT RICHARDSON DAZZLED fans with his bright-coloured shirts and continues the trend in season 2.
