Coach’s Eye App will Cease in September 2022…

The useful Coaching app Coach’s Eye will no longer be in operation from Autumn next year.

The announcement came as SnookerZone received an email with the news that TechSmith, the company who manage the app, is investing in growing resources elsewhere in their business.

New users wanting to use the app can’t download the app now from this month September 14th (yesterday).

On the announcement, it read: “We are sorry to say that as of SEPTEMBER 14, 2021, new users will no longer be able to purchase or download Coach’s Eye. It takes a lot of ongoing development to continue to provide an app and web service that is relevant and up-to-date with the latest technology. We have decided to invest these resources into other growing areas for TechSmith.

Existing users of the app can continue to use it until the grace period ends next year in September 2022.

The news added: “WE TRULY APPRECIATE THE PASSION AND SUPPORT OUR CUSTOMERS PROVIDED THROUGHOUT THE LIFESPAN OF COACH’S EYE.

For Snooker players, (and coaches) the app was a useful tool for showing players what was happening in their cue actions and general setup. And SnookerZone had used it on a few occasions to find out key bits of information on what was going on. We will continue to use it until September next year.

SnookerZone believes it’s a real shame that the app will cease in 2022…
