Woking Snooker C Drop to Second in Division 2 League…
AFTER a long spell at the top, Woking Snooker C’s run has come to an end – for now.
They have dropped to second in the table, but are only one point behind the new leaders Staines Con D, who are now ahead on 33 points.
It’s a two-horse race between Woking C and Staines Con D as the points gap between second and third is a whopping 12 points.
Staines Con D got the win 4 – 2 on Thursday.
Woking C also won though, Ivan Astin told SnookerZone, 4 – 2.
He said: “I lost to Michael Wheeler 2 – 0. He is on like 87 percent and he was a good player, but Adam Hill and Peter Butler were never going to concede a frame.”
They continue with a 100% home success record.
Woking C’s Peter Butler, whom SnookerZone is going to be featuring soon, still has the highest break of the season so far with 63 in Div 2.
Woking A & B in the Premier Division: Update
In the Premier Division, Woking B are slightly ahead of Woking A in third and fourth respectively.
George Reeves of West Byfleet Social A has the high break so far with a 92. Ryan Mears of Woking A has the second with 89.
The leaders are Sunninghill Comrades B.
The League is in week 9 – halfway through, with 9 weeks left.
