2023 UK Women’s Championship This Month…

The new season of the World Women’s Snooker continues with one of the big events back Centre stage for the UK Women’s Championship in Leeds.
With 35 entries into the event so far, and many star faces in the draw, the total number from last year’s event was 38.
The date is set for September 22nd – 24th.
Reanne Evans pipped Hong Kong’s superstar Ng On Yee, 4 – 3 in the final.
The star of the tour this season has been the Thailand’s Wonder Woman Magic Mink Nutcharut who has been lifting plenty of silverware since bursting onto the scene.
The usual faces such as Emma Parker, whom has been touring the Exhibition circuit learning the craft of entertaining crowds in clubs across the country returns as well as other stars such as Jasmine Bolsover and Tessa Davidson et al.
World Women’s Snooker continues to make strides in entries and promoting the women’s game in clubs around the country from Coaching Days and Junior events across a range of events.
On the WWS Facebook page, there’s news of a return of Katrina Wan. It reads: “
We are excited to be able to welcome back our former Australian Open finalist Katrina Wan to the World Women’s Snooker Tour at this month’s UK Championship in Leeds 😍
Our former world number 5⃣ is set to return to the circuit for the first time since 2018 and we look forward to seeing her back on the baize.
