2022 Ultimate Pool Champions League: Brennan Brushes Through…

Ultimate Pool Professional ranked three Declan Brennan brushed past another three top tough players in Group nine of the Vinny Ultimate Pool Champions League on Monday.
Known as Declan The Destroyer, the Northern Irishman came up against yet another tough group in the event with Neil Raybone, Adam Bassoo, and qualifier Stephen Ellis, another player who has a background in snooker, who hasn’t played much 8 ball.
Bassoo joked he was looking forward to getting bashed up by the top players before the match.
Ellis got off to a flyer with a terrific first frame in the very first match, potting a thin red to dish up the first frame against Neil Raybone, but Raybone, who has come back to form in the Ultimate Pool Pro Series, then took the match from then on.

Brennan joins a string of the other top Ultimate Pool professionals who managed to get through the first stages with the likes of Shane Thompson, UP no 1, and Gareth Potts, Chris Melling, and Michael Hill all through to the final stages of the 21-week marathon.
Brennan nearly scooped last year’s Ultimate Pool Pairs Cup with Ronan McCarthy but was pipped by Shaun Chipperfield and Karl Sutton who landed the inaugural Pairs Cup.
The Champions League is a staple of Monday nights and can be caught on Freesports as usual for those in the UK, and those elsewhere can catch it on the website.
