2022 BetFred World Championship Enters First Proper Week…
After the festivities of Easter, the 2022 BetFred World Championship enters its first proper week, with the conclusion of first-round matches today and tomorrow.
The tie of the second round has got to be Mark Williams, who saw off his fellow compatriot Michael White, and now faces the young 20-year-old Jackson Page, whom is like a fourth son to the Welsh Potting Machine.
It’s going to be tough, said 47-year-old Williams.
He’s like my fourth son.
I think even when I’m in my chair, I’ll be cheering him on.
Page is a former Welsh Amateur Championship winner and former European and World Under-21 and Under-18 winner and runner-up.
The Master versus the Apprentice. Should be a cracker.
